Job Description: Build & Release

* Manage source code for an agile development environment
* Build, maintain and continuously improve build/release infrastructure including source code repository, build tools and scripts, packaging and deployment tools
* Establish code base integrity, check-in validation rules and branch sync and collapse activities
* Recommend best practices for maintaining code quality, code coverage measurement and the use of static and dynamic analysis tools 
* Guardian of the open source policy and ensure compliance with all applicable licenses; develop processes to ensure ongoing maintenance of all open source and third party code
* Integration and enhancement of automated test tools (in Bash, Perl, Python etc.) with the build system
* Software posting activities on cisco.com for customer download
Requirements/Qualifications:
* BS or MS in Computer or Information Science, or similar technical education
* 5-7 years of experience managing build and continuous integration environments
* Experience with GIT, SVN, Clearcase or other leading source control systems
* Experience with JENKINS is required
* Strong automation skills including Shell and one or more Perl, Python, bash PHP
* Strong analytical, problem solving skills; ability to work effectively under pressure
* Excellent communication skills
